Itinerary
MACAHEL WALKING TOUR PROGRAM
DAY 1 :Meet at Rize Airport ;
-Macahel Pass -Heba Plateau Trek-8 km-3 hours walk
10:00 :Meet at Rize Pazar Airport
We reach Borçka in (1.15 hours) minutes by minibus. Here we have a breakfast break at a family restaurant.
Borçka - Macahel Pass - 1 hour by transfer We reach Camili Flat to the beginning of the walk.
Camili Highland-Heba Plateau - 8 km - 3 hours walk
At the end of the walk, we reach Heba Plateau House.

DAY 2
Heba Plateau - Beyazsu Plateau Walk - 10 km
5 hours -(400 m ascent - 200 m descent / ascent from 2100 meters to 2500 - descent to 2300 meters
After breakfast, we start the walk directly from Heba plateau house. We reach Beyazsu plateau by walking on plateau paths with mountainous peaks and forest views. Today we stay in Beyazsu plateau house.
Accommodation: Beyazsu Plateau or Balcı Plateu
DAY 3 : Beyazsu Plateau -Gorgit Plateau-Efeler Village Walk
After breakfast, we start our hike directly from the Beyazsu Mountain Family Bungalow House. The trail and forest path lead us down to the Gorgit plateau, where we see plenty of Black Sea flowers, glaciers, and snowdrifts.
At the end of the afternoon, we descend to Gorgit Plateau, where we rest and take a break.
After the break, we continue our hike along the tractor road, seeing beehives on the treetops in the Macahel Valley, the only home of Caucasian bees, and walking through lush streams, forests, and waterfalls towards the village of Efeler.
DAY 4 : İremit - Maral Waterfall Hike & Karagöl Visit
After a short transfer in the morning, transportation to Maral Waterfall, which spills from a height of 63 meters, and then a walk towards İremit. Lunch break in İremit. With a half-hour transfer, we reach Karagöl and take an exploratory walk around Karagöl, take plenty of photos and return.
After the wonderful highlands walk, we say goodbye and go to Rize Airport.
We reach Rize Airport from Karagöl with a transfer of approximately - 2 hours.
After 19:30 or 20:00 you can buy tickets for airplanes...
Return to Rize bus station: 20:00 is suitable after

Trip Information
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR WALKING
- In the company of a professional licensed guide, we will experience the thousands of years old paths
- The number of people is limited for an efficient and enjoyable walk!
- Groups are min. 6– max. 16 people
- Since the walking track passes through villages and their local businesses within the scope of sustainable tourism, expectations should not be high in those businesses! Some of them are bungalows with pools, some of them are village houses, but the most important criterion is that we do not compromise on cleanliness.
- The track is generally beginner level. Anyone with good performance can walk!
- Those who have chronic illness and allergies must notify during registration!
- Due to natural conditions (rain), the guide has the right to change the program.
- Please do not leave your reservations to the last minute as the hiking season is spring-autumn!
- You have to pay a pre-deposit because walking cancellations cause problems. These deposits are used for hotel and vehicle pre-reservation.
- The program consists of Lycia's original trails and optional tracks. It is the combination of the most enjoyable, beginner level and most popular photo spots of the Lycian Way.
NECESSARY MATERIALS
Hiking Shoes: Since the trail will consist of hard ground and some stony areas, you should have a boot with a hard sole and ankle grip
Rucksack: A 25 litres backpack which does not sweat on the back and has a protective back can be preferred. It is necessary for personal needs and to carry picnic and water!
Raincoat: İt might be some rains due to weather conditions and seasonal changes
Jackets &Polars: According to the season, the weather is a little cool in the evening and in the morning.
Walking stick: Optional as the hike is beginner level. The baton puts the weight of the back and body on the hands and baton.
Towel-Swimwear: We can have a swimming breaks at the lakes
